Ballincollig Business Association Survey Results

November 19, 2009

As promised, here’s a video of a talk given on the results of the Ballincollig Business Association survey. Personally what I got from the results, is the appetite out there, to better market  Ballincollig as a place to do business, and in particular to raise its profile as a shopping destination.
Also there is the obvious need to have a representative voice when it comes to dealing with contentious issues, such as road works and rates.

If you are not aware, the business association holds meetings every Tuesday from 8 am to 9 am at Nosh and Coffee, next to Ballincollig Shopping Centre. The meetings are growing bigger by the week, with roughly 20 attending the last meeting. At the moment, they are deciding on the make up of sub committees, to start to implement some of the strategic goals outlined in the survey findings. There definitely is some impetus there to get things done and new members are always encouraged to come along to these meetings.
